Members can request a forensic unclaimed-property search covering jurisdictions that permit such searches. People who complete the Unclaimed Property training course can earn money assisting others with those searches. Selective charges a 10% service fee, up to the state maximum (10%–state max) — that is 10%, or the state’s legal or regulatory cap if lower. The fee is for search and claim-packet assistance, not legal representation, and it must not exceed what that state allows for unclaimed-property finders or heirs-location services. Every U.S. state and territory runs its own escheat / unclaimed-property program, and commercial-finder rules, waiting periods, and fee caps differ. We search where the law allows, explain when a state restricts paid finders, and help you assemble owner-claim packets. We do not guarantee recoveries or income, we do not take title to assets, and we will not pursue a search that a state prohibits.
