Members receive structured research guidance on state appellate and trial-level authority, issue-spotting help, and checklists for how published opinions may apply to a DIY filing. Each U.S. state and the District of Columbia also has its own member chatbot focused on that jurisdiction’s courts and higher-court decisions. Federal Case Law

We help members locate and discuss federal authority, distinguish binding versus persuasive precedent, and understand when a matter belongs in federal court. State chatbots will also identify when a U.S. Supreme Court or federal appellate decision binds that state. Escalate to a referred attorney when strategy, advocacy, or court appearance is required.

DIY Paralegal

Our paralegal team and member tools walk you through document checklists, filing sequences, and research organization. We do not appear in court, negotiate on your behalf, or give legal advice. When a licensed attorney is required, we connect you through our worldwide referral network.

Document Preparation

Members can request document-preparation guidance and template walkthroughs. You remain responsible for the accuracy of facts and for deciding how to proceed. Complex or contested matters should be referred to a licensed attorney. Trust and estate originals may be stored in the member Trust Bank.

When a matter needs a lawyer — courtroom advocacy, privileged advice, or licensed representation — we route a referral request to attorneys in the relevant jurisdiction. Referral is an introduction, not a guarantee of engagement or outcome.

Financial Services via Primerica

Selective Legal Group partners with licensed Primerica representatives so members can request an introduction for Primerica’s financial-services offerings. Primerica is an independent company. Selective Legal Group is not Primerica, is not a broker-dealer, and does not provide investment advice, sell securities, or manage accounts. Any securities or investment product discussion happens only with a properly licensed Primerica representative. We do not issue Primerica licenses. Insurance Sales via Primerica

Members may request an introduction to licensed Primerica insurance representatives. Selective Legal Group is not an insurance company, does not underwrite coverage, and does not bind policies. Insurance products are offered only by licensed producers. Availability, suitability, and policy terms are determined by the licensed representative and the issuing carrier — never by our paralegal desk. This is a referral and sales-partnership arrangement, not unlicensed insurance advice. Unclaimed Property

Members can request a forensic unclaimed-property search covering jurisdictions that permit such searches. People who complete the Unclaimed Property training course can earn money assisting others with those searches. Selective charges a 10% service fee, up to the state maximum (10%–state max) — that is 10%, or the state’s legal or regulatory cap if lower. The fee is for search and claim-packet assistance, not legal representation, and it must not exceed what that state allows for unclaimed-property finders or heirs-location services. Every U.S. state and territory runs its own escheat / unclaimed-property program, and commercial-finder rules, waiting periods, and fee caps differ. We search where the law allows, explain when a state restricts paid finders, and help you assemble owner-claim packets. We do not guarantee recoveries or income, we do not take title to assets, and we will not pursue a search that a state prohibits. Grant Writing

Selective assists members with grant calendars, narrative outlines, budget attachments, and compliance checklists for public and private funding applications. We are not a grantor and do not award funds. Award decisions rest with the funding agency. Where a proposal requires licensed professional certifications, we flag that requirement and refer out.

Private Investigator Referrals

When a matter needs a licensed investigator — skip traces, surveillance where lawful, asset location, or statement work — we introduce members to licensed private investigators in the relevant country or U.S. state. Licensing, permitted methods, and carry rules vary widely. Selective Legal Group does not itself investigate, surveil, or obtain protected records. The investigator you engage is an independent licensed professional.

Private Security Referrals

Members may request introductions to licensed armed or unarmed private security providers for events, residences, or business sites. Selective Legal Group does not employ guards, does not hold security licenses, and does not provide protective services. Armed assignments require the contractor’s own licenses, insurance, and weapons permits. We make the referral; the security firm is independently responsible for lawful performance.

Personal Injury

Personal-injury members receive intake organization, document checklists, and introduction to licensed personal-injury counsel when representation is appropriate. Selective Legal Group charges a 20% service and coordination fee on referred personal-injury matters. This is an SLG administrative and referral-coordination fee, not an attorney contingency fee and not a share of a legal recovery unless a written, jurisdiction-permitted arrangement says otherwise. We are not a law firm. We do not file lawsuits, negotiate with insurers as your lawyer, or appear in court. Attorney fees, if any, are set by the lawyer you retain and are separate from Selective’s service fee. Outcomes are never guaranteed.

Credit Restoration

Members receive structured guidance on gathering credit reports, spotting possible inaccuracies, organizing dispute correspondence, and keeping a paper trail. Selective Legal Group is not a consumer reporting agency, not a credit bureau, and not a lender. We do not promise score increases, account removals, or credit approval. You may dispute inaccurate information directly with the bureaus at no charge. Where a paid credit-repair offering is involved, we follow FCRA and CROA-style rules: no guaranteed results, written disclosures, and no advice to make false statements. This desk is educational and clerical support, not legal advice. Contested identity-theft or collection litigation should be referred to licensed counsel.

Selective provides credit-restoration education and document-preparation support. We are not a consumer reporting agency or a credit bureau. Results are never guaranteed. This is not legal advice. Dispute and restoration work must follow the Fair Credit Reporting Act and, where a credit-repair offering applies, Credit Repair Organizations Act-style disclosures — including that you may dispute errors yourself at no charge.

Members can organize revocable and irrevocable trust packets, pour-over wills, assignments of personal property, and related estate papers, then store them in the Trust dashboard (Trust Bank). Trust Bank is confidential document retention — not a bank, not a trustee, not a financial institution, and not a place to deposit money. Uploading papers does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not make Selective your trustee. We do not draft trusts as licensed counsel.
